Terms of Service – NorthVant

1. Scope

These Terms of Service govern the contractual relationship between the NorthVant store, operated by Mr. G (French society), registered at 113 rue de la République, 13002 Marseille, France, and any person placing an order through north-vant.com (the "Customer").

Placing an order on the site constitutes full acceptance of these Terms of Service.

2. Products

NorthVant sells decorative items and furniture. Essential product characteristics (dimensions, materials, color) are described on each product page. Photographs are as accurate as possible but may vary slightly from the actual product due to screen display differences.

3. Prices

Prices are displayed in your local currency where available, inclusive of applicable taxes, excluding shipping costs. Shipping costs are shown before final order confirmation. NorthVant reserves the right to change prices at any time; the price shown at the time of order confirmation is the only one applicable to the Customer.

4. Orders

The Customer selects products, adds them to the cart, and confirms the order after reviewing the details and total price. The order is final once payment is confirmed. A confirmation email is sent to the Customer at that point.

5. Payment

Payment is due immediately upon ordering. Accepted payment methods include: credit/debit card, PayPal, Shop Pay, and Apple Pay. Transactions are secured through Shopify's integrated payment providers.

6. Shipping

NorthVant ships within France and internationally, including to the United States. Estimated delivery times vary by product and destination country (on average 3 to 7 business days). These timeframes may be extended due to high demand, temporary stock shortages, or exceptional circumstances.

Shipping costs are calculated based on weight, volume, and destination, and are shown before order confirmation. The Customer is responsible for verifying the accuracy of the shipping address provided.

7. Right of Withdrawal (EU/UK Customers)

For customers located in the European Union or United Kingdom, applicable consumer protection law grants a 14-calendar-day right of withdrawal from the date of receipt, without needing to provide a reason.

Exception: custom-made or personalized items are excluded from the right of withdrawal, as permitted under French consumer law.

Note for US customers: the statutory 14-day EU withdrawal right does not apply to US orders; instead, please see our Refund Policy for our return terms applicable to US and other non-EU customers.

To exercise this right, Customers should contact NorthVant at contact@north-vant.com. Return shipping costs are the Customer's responsibility, except in the case of defective or non-conforming products, which are covered by NorthVant. See our Refund Policy for full details.

8. Warranties

All products sold by NorthVant are covered by applicable legal warranties against hidden defects and non-conformity under French law. US customers also benefit from any applicable warranties under US federal and state consumer protection law.

9. Liability

NorthVant shall not be held liable for damages resulting from improper use of products by the Customer, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond its control (carrier strikes, natural disasters, etc.).

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the NorthVant website (text, images, logo) is protected by intellectual property law. Reproduction without prior authorization is prohibited.

11. Personal Data

The processing of the Customer's personal data is detailed in our Privacy Policy, available on the site.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms of Service are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable resolution will be sought before any legal action. Failing that, French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protection provisions applicable in the Customer's country of residence.
